One of my favorite scriptures is Matthew 5:14-16, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid….Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick: and it giveth light unto all that are in the house…Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.” I love this short video today by Jenny Phillips… In today’s world it can very challenging to be that light on a hill…. As the world’s value system continues to deteriorate, NOW is a time we need more people to shine in a world full of darkness. The fear of rejection causes many to alter their own value system and conform to others. I know by experience when we make a firm resolution to live by a higher law we will be blessed. Over the years I have seen countless examples of people lifting others around them by just being a person of high integrity. Light attracts light. Many of the miracles we can do in this world might just be the example’s we set for those around us. You never know who is watching you and possibly emulating you.. Become that light on a hill you were born to be..
