I believe all of us have heart the words of Christ at some point in our lives. Words that encourage us to change. Words that remind us of our infinite ability and that we can turn from the evil in our lives. On today’s short clip we are reminded of 2 men who heard the words of Christ and “Acted”. Acting is the hardest part. It takes a leap of faith and we just aren’t sure exactly how things may turn out. Take time to watch and then reflect on areas of your life you can “Act”. You will find greater joy in your journey and for those you love.
Elder David A Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles spoke in the October 2016 General Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (often called the LDS or Mormon church). This video is a recap of his words.
“And Jesus walking by the Sea of Galilee saw two brethren… and he saith unto them, ‘Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.'” We must deny ourselves of all ungodliness and worldly lust and keep the commandments of the Lord.
