This month I am focusing on Scroll #5 of Og Mandino’s “The greatest salesman in the world”. That scroll is marked, “I will live this day as if it were my last”. How often do we approach THIS day as a gift? An opportunity to dream, laugh, love, and enjoy all of the wonders of this life? I firmly believe that when we look at THIS day as a gift we will DO things differently, we will treat others with love and compassion. Years ago I asked my own Father his secret to success. His remarks have remained with me to this day. He said every night before arising the next morning he looks at the next day as a little boy would Christmas Day. When we do this we are excited about the coming day and know something special is going to happen. Then upon arising he looks for that special “thing” that will occur that day and it usually does.
