The Daily Echo: What does it really mean to be an AMERICAN? September 11, 2016

What does it really mean to be an American? I believe we live in the greatest country with the greatest blessings. Do I agree with everything that goes on around me? No… Do I believe the very values that built this country are being abandoned? Yes…. I love today’s speech from President Reagan. I believe if we don’t return to the values that built this country we will continue to see it crumble. As we look back on the tragedy of September 11 hopefully we can reverence those people along with the countless others who’s lives were taken because of what America stands for. We are a nation under God and the freedom he gave us comes with strings attached. Are we severing those strings by our actions? What built this nation must return to keep it great…….
