Understanding Rhabdomyolysis is the topic I discuss today. I think it is important to understand what exactly “Rhabdo” is and some of the warning signs and symptoms. There are certain steps we can take to prevent this from occurring. We must stay hydrated, be careful of overtraining, progression of training instead of overdoing it. Over 26,000 cases a year in the U.S. are diagnosed so this is a rather common occurrence. In the world of Cross Fit we need to monitor those we may work with and allow them to progress in their training.
