After being invited to submit sketches, Brian was selected to create a piece centered on one of the most sacred and pivotal moments in history. While it was the subject he had hoped for, it also came with a deep sense of responsibility, capturing the emotion, weight, and meaning of Jesus Christ’s experience in Gethsemane. With over 30 years of experience as an illustrator and painter, Brian walks through his creative process, the challenges he faced, and the spiritual significance behind the work.
