The Daily Echo: Day 12 Light the World “Blessed are they that Mourn”…. December 12, 2017

The tragedies of life are a certainty. Each of us at some time have to face the loss of a loved one. The difficulty of those experiences can overwhelm us. At those moments when we can no longer see any hope or any reason to go on, we are lifted up by those around us. I know the challenges personally of loss. I am so thankful for the many that reached out and “mourned” with me and my family during those times. It is difficult for all of us to know what to do or say when confronted with someone who is dealing with the loss of a loved one. While it is true that nothing you can do or say will bring that person back your love will help lift those dealing with these tragedies. Just reach out and be there for them. It’s not about what we say or do, it’s about listening to your heart and you will know what they need during that time.
